# RecruitMCP MCP

One setup file. Read it, then connect.

1. Connect with OAuth (claude.ai custom connectors and other clients that support it discover it from `https://mcp.recruitmcp.com/mcp`), or with an API key: header `Authorization: Bearer <key>`. Keys start with `rmcp_live_`; older `rapi_live_` keys still work. Signup grants 1,250 credits.
2. Pick toolsets with `?toolsets=`: sourcing and outreach by default, add advanced for raw search and lookups, or use all. Example: `https://mcp.recruitmcp.com/mcp?toolsets=sourcing,advanced`.
3. Call `get_guide` (or read `recruitmcp://guide`) before the first search.
4. Tools that spend or send return a free preview until you call them again with `confirm=true`. A repeated confirmed call with the same arguments replays the first answer.
5. To act inside a customer workspace, send header `RecruitMCP-Customer: cus_…`, or use a key bound to that customer.

Locally this server mounts MCP at `/mcp` and `/api/mcp`.

        "--header",

## claude.ai

Add a custom connector with URL `https://mcp.recruitmcp.com/mcp`. Choose OAuth and register the client automatically. Paste the API key on the consent page, not in a request header. Pick the scopes and an optional daily credit cap, then approve.
